Marco Scott began to play the piano as a teenager in Connecticut and hasn't stopped playing since then. Mostly self-taught, from the beginning he has sought to emulate jazz pianists ranging from Art Tatum to Keith Jarrett. He has played with musicians such as Frank Wess, Diane Schurr, Brian Bromberg, and good friend Giacomo Gates, as well as many others. In recent years he has performed extended improvisational concerts on solo acoustic piano, and plays 4-handed piano with well-known Weston resident Chris Coogan. Marco performs regularly, in a variety of contexts from solo to big-band in venues throughout the area. Marco resides in Fairfield, CT. |
